Malty, toasty, melanoidin sweetness reminiscent of lightly toasted bread crusts. Clean fermentation quality. No diacetyl. No DMS. No hop aroma.
10 / 12

Appearance:
Large amount of off-white head that persists. Dense but fluffy foam. Deep gold color with brilliant clarity.
3 / 3

Flavor:
Malty, rich, toasty sweetness that is almost balanced out with a light hop bitterness. Finishes a little on the sweet side for the style.
14 / 20

Mouthfeel:
Medium body with medium light carbonation. No astringency.
5 / 5

Overall:
A little more hop bitterness or a drier finish would really balance out this beer. I'm guessing that some of the bitterness has dropped out during shipping.
