Bottle Comments:

Aroma:
Incredibly hop-forward with little noticeable malts. Leads in with floral, then pine, followed by background notes of orange & tangerine. Clean yeast character.
12 / 12

Appearance:
Light-golden with minor haze. Long-lasting pale white head. Sturdy lace.
2 / 3

Flavor:
Leads in with bitter floral notes and some citrus pith. Fades into minor blend of malty and boozy character (not hot). No caramel or esters whatsoever. Very clean but persistently bitter aftertaste.
19 / 20

Mouthfeel:
Light creaminess & stickiness. For intense continued bitterness, little noticeable astringency at all. Less carbonated than expected.
3 / 5

Overall:
A hair short of perfect. Punchy in the exact manner I'd expect for the style and appreciative of the shooting high for style versus coming up short. Bitterness could be dialed back just a few (consider first wort hopping or less bittering additions), priming w/slightly more sugar for a little more CO2, and blending with some darker base malts for a little color (and possibly additional malt character)
9 / 10

Total Score: 45 / 50

Style Accuracy: 5 / 5
Technical Merit: 4 / 5
Intangibles: 5 / 5
