Style: 14B American IPA
Beer Info:
Descriptors:
Bottle Inspection: All Good
Bottle Comments:

Aroma:
High amounts of American hop aroma - mainly citrus with some slight floral notes. Moderate amounts of caramel and biscuit. Picking up a low amount of alcohol.
11 / 12

Appearance:
Low amount of white head that quickly dissipates, leaving very minimal lacing. Brilliantly clear. Approx 11-12 SRM - medium amber.
3 / 3

Flavor:
Bitterness dominates a solid malt and caramel foundation. Citrus and floral hop flavors are pronounced in the middle of the palate, and quickly give way to a malty finish, without being overly sweet.
18 / 20

Mouthfeel:
Perfect, medium-light body that leaves a dry sensation on the palate. Medium-high carbonation that make the hop aromas and flavors really come alive. Moderate amount of hop astringency. Moderate amount of alcohol warmth without being hot.
5 / 5

Overall:
Very good example of the style. It seems like some of the hop flavor and aroma may have dropped out and allowed the caramel to come thru just a tiny bit too much. I would LOVE to try a fresh bottle of this.
