Low sulfur aroma. Low malt aroma, faint caramel and toffee. No hop aroma. No esters or phenols,

Dark brownish red, clear. Moderate head of off white very fine foam that persists well.

Flavor:
Medium toasty malt, low roast barley. Low earthy bitterness. Balanced slightly towards malt, but not sweet. Fairly dry finish. Clean, crisp. Faint toffee as it warms. No esters.

Medium bodied, moderate high carbonation. Carbonic bite slightly harsh on the tongue.

A very good beer, representative of style, marred slightly by a sulfur aroma and overly carbonic bite. Consider slightly lower carbonation levels, and watch out for yeast stress near the end of fermentation. Sulfur can sometimes be offgassed during carbonation.
