Sweet and cloves dominate initial aroma. Less aromatics include mild hop spice and slight Belgian yeast banana presence.
9 / 12
Light blonde and slightly hazy. Good head retention of very small bubbles, very smooth texture and carbonation stays throughout.
3 / 3
Initial wheat spiciness but balanced well with sweet maltiness. Clove and coriander spice from the aroma continue into the flavor. Moderately dry finish that does not linger. Very refreshing.
16 / 20
Medium light body but dry finish balances well with the body. Meduim-high carbonation also cuts through body for a light refreshing beer. Slightly under carbonated for style but this could be attributed to pitcher power.
4 / 5
An excellent example of a wit. Wonderfully balanced and complex. no noticeable technical flaws, just intangibles affecting the score. As stated above more carbonation would be my only complaint.Category also calls for optional orange/zest/ or sour. Would be interesting to see one or more of these options in this beer.
