Beer Info:
Descriptors: Diacetyl
Bottle Inspection: All Good
Bottle Comments:

Aroma:
Large amount of butter - diacetyl is immediately present. Almost impossible to get anything else other than that. No hop aroma. No esters.
4 / 12

Appearance:
Medium copper with brilliant clarity. Large amount of off white head that persists.
2 / 3

Flavor:
Large amounts of artificial butter flavor - diacetyl. No hop flavor. Balance is toward the malt.
9 / 20

Mouthfeel:
Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. No creaminess. Light warmth. Light astringency - carbonic bite combined with light sourness.
2 / 5

Overall:
A good attempt at the style but contains several major flaws. Diacetyl is the main issue. Possibly allow fermentation to warm 10F after beer is 2/3 fermented, performing a diacetyl rest. The beer is also pretty significantly too light in color. Possibly add just a touch of Carafa III Special for color without adding roast character, or possibly replace light Munich for some dark Munich.
