Aroma:
Moderate amount of complex malt - light toast, bready that compliments a moderate amount of complex fruit character - cherry, grape, and generic dark fruit. Low amount of sourness (mix of clean and acetic) with a low amount of complex "funk". Low amount of oxidized "cork" aroma. No hops.

Medium brown with garnet tint when held to light. Clear, but not brilliant. Small and medium particles floating. Low amount of slightly off white head that quickly retreats to edge of glass.

Moderate amount of complex malt flavor (bread crusts) that is dominated by lactic and acetic sourness. Moderate amount of warm (almost hot), unexpected alcohol. Low amount of "cork" flavor with light oxidized, sherry-like notes.

Medium body with medium carbonation. Moderately high level of alcohol warmth, moderate creaminess. Medium-high level of sourness.
