Bottle Comments:

Aroma:
Fruit, floral, woody and resiny hop aromas dominate a medium malty sweetness.
10 / 12

Appearance:
7-8 SRM, light amber and brilliantly clear. Medium amount of off-white head that quickly dissipates, leaving lovely, tight patterns of off-white lacing.
3 / 3

Flavor:
Citrus and fruity hop flavors give way smooth and light caramel and malty sweetness, which is then followed by a bitter, citrusy finish, that provides more than enough bitterness to balance out the sweetness.
18 / 20

Mouthfeel:
Medium body with medium carbonation. Smooth and warming in the chest. I'd probably prefer a slightly lighter body or more carbonation to avoid an heavy palate feel. Minimal astringency from the hops.
4 / 5

Overall:
This is an excellent beer. The caramel sweetness and the hop bitterness play very nicely together, and fit squarely into the style guidelines. A little more hop aroma and a slightly lighter body would really allow the hops to shine just a little bit more. Maybe try increasing the dry hops or flameout/whirlpool hops.
